Venture to El Toro Carniceria in Santa Ana for what many regard as the best carne asada in Orange County. Head straight toward the back of the bustling market to the meats section and grab a number.
Once you’re called, ask for a few pounds of the carne asada (flank steak) that’s authentically marinated in citrus juices and zesty seasonings -- priced at $5 a pound. Do try the flavorful marinated chicken asada as well.
The friendly and helpful butchers can easily tell you how many pounds you will need for your party (typically a half pound of meat per person).
